What we collect
The calculator runs on the server and does not create an account or a profile. The values you type travel in the URL so the page can be refreshed or shared; they are not written to a database. Standard server logs may record the IP address, browser and requested page for security and abuse prevention, and are kept for a short period.
Cookies and local storage
FenceCalc itself sets no tracking cookie. The site stores one preference in your browser local storage to remember that you dismissed the cookie notice. Advertising cookies, if any, come from the third parties described below.
Google AdSense
Pages may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, and you can read how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Third parties
Where third-party ad vendors are enabled they may also set cookies or web beacons to measure ad performance. These vendors appear on Google’s ads technology providers page. We do not sell personal data and we do not share the values you enter into the calculator.
Your rights
If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland you have the right to access, correct, delete and port your personal data, and to object to processing. California residents have the right to know and to opt out of the sale of personal information; we do not sell it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us and we will respond within the period required by law.
Children
This is a general-audience tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the update date at the top of the page changes with it. Privacy questions can be sent to the address on the contact page.
